Terms of use.
Effective October 3, 2026. These terms describe use of Vantage Athlete Network’s athlete recruiting platform.
Accounts and participation
Provide accurate account and profile information, keep your password private, and use an email address you control. Athletes must be at least 13. Athletes under 18 require consent from a registered legal guardian before recruiting access. Coaches, recruiters and guardians must be 18 or older. Account access opens automatically after email confirmation, account setup and any required guardian consent. Affiliation verification is separate from access.
Your information and content
Submit only information, images and media that you have permission to share. You retain your content; by submitting it you allow the platform to store and display it for the recruiting functions you use. Information is self-reported unless a specific item is marked as reviewed. Do not submit private information about others without permission.
Conduct and safety
Do not impersonate people or organizations, harass others, post exploitative or unlawful content, solicit sensitive information from minors, or attempt to access accounts or data without authorization. Consenting guardians are included in new conversations involving their linked athletes under 18. At 18, guardian consent is no longer required and inherited guardian message access ends. Adult athletes may choose to share new conversations with a previously linked guardian in Account settings. Staff may restrict or suspend accounts and review reported concerns.
Recruiting contact and NCAA rules
Recruiters, coaches and organizations that contact athletes through the platform are solely responsible for following the NCAA recruiting rules that apply to them, and the NAIA or NJCAA rules where applicable. This includes rules about contact and evaluation periods, dead periods, permitted communication methods, and restrictions based on an athlete’s age or grade level.
The platform provides messaging and matching tools only. It does not monitor or approve recruiting communications or guarantee that they comply with any recruiting rules.
Athletes and guardians should verify the eligibility and recruiting rules that apply to the athlete’s own situation. Match explanations and platform messages are not compliance advice.
Accounts used in violation of applicable recruiting rules may be restricted or suspended, consistent with the enforcement language in “Conduct and safety.” The guardian-visibility rule for athletes under 18 also applies to recruiting conversations.
Recruiting decisions
Matches explain how profile information relates to stated recruiting requirements. They do not guarantee admission, eligibility, an offer, a contract or a scholarship. Athletes and organizations remain responsible for checking the information and rules relevant to their decisions.
Service and requests
Features may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance or technical problems. Do not rely on the platform as your only record of an important recruiting conversation. You can permanently delete your account and profile in Account settings. To raise a concern, contact the team. The Privacy notice explains how submitted information is used.
